How can the Stakeholders within the shopping districts be united?

HOW CAN THE STAKEHOLDERS WITHIN THE SHOPPING DISTRICTS BE UNITED?

    – 3 may 2017 –

How can dialogue between the traders and public authorities be facilitated? What obstacle(s) must the Traders’ Associations face? Are we stronger together? These are some of the questions you can answer for yourself on 22nd May, from 13:30 to 18:00!

The equilibrium within the shopping districts is fragile, in as much as they often suffer directly from the internal or external contingencies that may occur in an urban area: e-commerce, unoccupied commercial buildings, building work, lockdowns, attacks, etc.

Attentive to the concerns and needs of the tradespeople in Brussels, Atrium.Brussels is working on developing a support service specifically for the traders, encouraging them, in particular, to unite, speak with one voice and work together.

In order to define the priorities of this task, the Agency is aiming to capitalise on your knowledge during an open forum. How will it work? You will create and manage the agenda yourself, based on the chosen topic. Everyone is welcome, whether you represent the public authorities or are a trader, and whether you are a member of a Traders’ Association or not.

    A complete programme

From 13:30 onward, you are invited to join us at 110, Chaussée de Charleroi. Are you hoping for answers or going to provide them? We are providing a time and place for you to share everything. The first hour will be spent setting out the framework and establishing the conversations you wish to have.

You will then be in complete control of your time: you may decide to join in just one conversation in its entirety, or you may go from room to room, picking up bits of information here and there. In each group, an account of each discussion will be drawn up.

If you’re feeling a bit peckish, a bit thirsty? A snack will be provided so you can revitalise yourself without missing out on a moment of the lively discussions in the adjacent rooms.

At the end, we would also like to offer you a drink to celebrate having this opportunity to exchange ideas.

    Interested? Intrigued? Inspired?
